A short ceremony to unveil the recently purchased Tommy silhouette to mark the end of WW1, will take place on Friday 14th September at 2.30pm at the War Memorial, Meridian Park.
The Lord Lieutenant, Mr Peter Field and High Sheriff, Major General John Moore-Bick will officially unveil the 6' statue.
Residents are welcome to attend the service which will be conducted by the Rev'd Tim Mills.
