Eastbourne

Eastbourne, like Brighton, is one of the most popular visitor destinations on the South Coast.

You can take a stunning three-mile-long stroll over the town’s wide, rocky beaches, and visit the 19th Century Grande Parade and look at the beautiful white and pastel coloured buildings.

Eastbourne is also home to the Europe’s largest man-made marina, Sovereign Harbour, which has a wide selection of restaurants, shops and other attractions.

Eastbourne Beach is a must for families with its shingle beach that exposes sandy stretches at mid to low tide. The seafront also hosts Eastbourne’s famous pier, the promenade, bandstand, the Redoubt Fortress, tennis courts, a sports centre, children’s amusements, a swimming pool and the beautiful Italian Gardens, Carpet Gardens and Helen Garden.
