The Meridian Monument in Peacehaven, marks the point on the South Coast where the Greenwich Meridian enters and exits the country.



Peacehaven remains the only town in the UK to be named after peace.



Peacehaven Town has become an increasingly popular location for filming and photography and has been seen on screen and in print many times.

Peacehaven has appeared in the popular TV adaptation of Peter James’s bestselling detective series; Grace, Mr Bean, the ITV production The Level, Pret-a-Porter, Harper’s Bazaar Japan, Unibet, Browns and Silent Witness, as well as short films and music videos.
