If you’re interested in a range of opportunities to volunteer either at Peacehaven Town Council or for other organisations in the Peacehaven area, please see below.

 We are always looking for volunteers to help out with various community groups and Council events:

Peacehaven Community Summer Fair 2025

We need volunteers to assist with a variety of duties.

All volunteers will be provided with free refreshments throughout the day and a free lunch.

The next Summer Fair will take place in 2025 at Centenary Park (Big Park) from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m.

Community Speedwatch

Community Speedwatch is looking for volunteers to join your local Community Speedwatch Scheme.

Full training will be given for this role by Sussex Police. This is a vital role in helping to reduce anti-social driving and helping to prevent death and injury in our roads.

Peacehaven Community Garden

The Peacehaven Community Garden is always looking for volunteers to help with planting and maintaining the garden.

Meeting dates vary to allow people who work different days to attend. Days and times will be posted on the Facebook page when they are organised.

Peacehaven Community Supermarket is a non-profit organisation that helps people learn to cook, eat a healthy diet, grow their own food and waste less food.

Citizens Advice – Lewes District 

Lewes District Citizens Advice is an independent charity that provides free, confidential and impartial advice to anyone living or working within the Lewes District area.

They are seeking Trainee Advisors to give information and advice to members of your community.

You will receive full training for your role, as well as support and supervision throughout your time volunteering with them.
