Curriculum: Our beginner lessons follow a structured, beginner-friendly approach to learning chess, designed for children aged 8–11. In the first 7-week set, students will:

• Learn the names, movements, and abilities of all the chess pieces
• Understand the basic rules: check, checkmate, and how to win
• Practice simple tactics such as pins, forks, and basic threats
• Explore the opening, middle-game, and endgame in approachable ways
• Develop strategic thinking, concentration, and confidence while enjoying the game
• Understanding that losses are part of growing, not something to be discouraged by

As students progress, lessons gradually introduce more advanced tactics, openings, and gameplay strategies, helping children build skills steadily over time.
