Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) at Centenary Park Closes for Refurbishment

Please note that the MUGA Court at Centenary Park (The Big Park) will be closed for refurbishment from next Monday 17th November. It is expected to reopen in the New Year.

Peacehaven's Centenary Park is set to receive significant upgrades to boost sports and recreational opportunities for local people.

Next year, the current multi-use games area (MUGA) at Centenary Park will be transformed into a multi-sports space which will include a new anti-slip surface and new fencing.

A key feature will be a designated community netball court for the growing Peacehaven Netball Club, enabling it to host league matches and training sessions. The area will have improved basketball facilities and provision for both kick-around and five-a-side football.

In addition, a new pump track will be built at Centenary Park next year.

Lewes District Council is currently in the tendering process and a consultation on the design of the new track will soon be held with young people and other park users.
