The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with a simple aim: to bring people
across the country together to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages,
countryside and beaches.
On the weekend of 2 - 4 March 2018, we want to inspire people to get outdoors, get
active and help clear up the rubbish that lies around Peacehaven.
Join the growing army of volunteers who have had enough of other people’s
litter and are willing to do something about it.
Together we can make a difference and clean up Peacehaven
Peacehaven Spring Clean Events:
Friday 2nd March, 10am to 12 noon – Meet at Roderick Avenue car park – to spring clean
the car parks in Roderick Road, Bramber Avenue, Piddinghoe Avenue and along the South
Coast Road in between.

the memorial gardens.
Saturday 3rd March, 2pm to 4pm – Meet at Gateway Café in the Big Park – for a walk in
the park and to spring clean the Big Park.

Peacehaven Task Force is a volunteer group that generously
give their free time to help tidy the town. We need your help.
Due to inclement weather conditions, the decision has been taken to cancel the litter picks today (Friday) and Saturday. Although there is little snow around, ice and low temperatures mean it is too risky to go ahead. Sunday may be warmer so the organisers for Sunday litter pick will make their decision nearer the time. Please look out for the notices on Facebook groups / Clean Peacehaven and Taskforce, as litter picks will be rearranged for and when it is warm and sunny. Thank you to David Seabrook for his continued support with this group
