Peacehaven Town Council Christmas events will take place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December.

The yearly Community Carol Concert on Friday 15th at 6.00pm supported by the local churches and organised by PTC has a packed programme. Meridian and Peacehaven Heights schools will perform alongside local soloists. Town Crier, Jon Borthwick will compere the event. Free tickets to this will be available from Friday 24th November from the Information Office but are limited to two per person; the event is free but a collection will be made for the Mayor's charities. This year a Christmas Day meal will be organised by the churches at Coffee Haven for up to 15 local residents, who will be on their own on Christmas Day; Claire the owner of the café is donating the food & her time. The Mayor & his wife Sandra will help serve the meals.

Once again Peacehaven Town Council, in aid of the Mayor’s charities, are organising a Christmas Market attracting over 65 stalls in Community House and the Meridian Mall. This will take place on Saturday 16th December from 9am – 3pm. Father Christmas has asked PTC to build a grotto so that he can spend time talking to his little visitors on that day. The managing agents for the Meridian Centre, Hartnall Taylor Cooke have agreed with PTC that the market can be extended to the exits this year and have also been generous in helping to pay for the decorations in the Mall.
